Rapid Relief Team Ends 2024 with a Total of 58,000 Meals Served at 270 Events Across North America
[Ridgefield Park, NJ – December 5, 2024] – The Rapid Relief Team (RRT), the charitable arm of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC), celebrates the end of a banner year. In 2024, 2,675 RRT volunteers from 54 North American communities in 20 states gave 28,750 hours of their time, supported 270 unique events, and served a grand total of 58,000 meals.

KIDS RIDE FREE ON NY WATERWAY FERRIES THIS HOLIDAY SEASON


A Holiday Gift from your friends at NY WaterwayNY Waterway has announced that this holiday season, kids will be able to ride free on all NY Waterway ferry routes between New Jersey and Manhattan beginning Friday, November 29 through Wednesday, January 1. A maximum of two children, under the age of 12, will be permitted to ride when accompanied by one, single paying adult rider.

Bergen County Secures $149,300 ARRIVE Together Grant to Enhance Mental Health Crisis Response


Hackensack, NJ — The Bergen County Board of Commissioners are proud to announce that the County has been awarded a $149,300 grant through the New Jersey ARRIVE Together program, an initiative overseen by the Office of the Attorney General. This funding will strengthen Bergen County’s ability to respond compassionately and effectively to mental health crises by integrating trained mental health professionals into law enforcement operations.
