Bergen Class of ’24 Grad Gets $55,000 Scholarship


PARAMUS, N.J. – As one of 60 high-achieving community college students selected for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation’s Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship, recent Bergen Community College graduate Ricardo Santana will receive up to $55,000 per year from the organization to complete a bachelor’s degree. The highly competitive national scholarship drew nearly 1,700 applications from over 380 community colleges across the nation.

THE LAKES AT DARLINGTON COUNTY PARK OPEN FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND


MAHWAH, N.J. – County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of Commissioners, and the County Parks Department announces that starting Saturday, May 25 at 10 a.m., the Lakes at Darlington County Park will reopen for swimming activities. The upper lake, home to the Wibit Splash Zone at Darlington Lake water obstacle course will also be open to all residents above 39 inches tall, for an additional fee.
