Bergen Opens Registration for Next Semesters


PARAMUS, N.J. – Bergen Community College will once again offer an accelerated winter semester in January 2024, allowing students to complete classes in just 14 days. The intensive offerings remain popular with students seeking to earn credits in the downtime between the fall and spring semesters - including visiting students currently enrolled at four-year colleges.

CITY OF SOUTH AMBOY AND NY WATERWAY LAUNCH SOUTH AMBOY FERRY SERVICE


SOUTH AMBOY, NJ, OCTOBER 30, 2023 - The City of South Amboy and NY Waterway today launched their new South Amboy ferry service to New York City, offering direct routes from South Amboy to Downtown (Brookfield Place) and to Midtown (West 39th St). Free local shuttles run between Sayreville and South Amboy and the ferry landing at 100 Radford Ferry Road in South Amboy.

Real Time, Game Show Environment Tests Dozens of Participants


ALLENDALE, N.J. (Oct. 26, 2023) — Assisted living and skilled nursing residents at Allendale Senior Living and Allendale Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center teamed up with local high school students for a winning combination during the virtual reality Back-to-School Trivia Tournament recently held at the Bergen County continuum-of-care campus. The Allendale teams, who competed against dozens of others virtually, were among the competition’s top scorers, answering all questions correctly.
