GETHSEMANE CEMETERY OPEN THIS WEEKEND


Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs invites public for self-guided tours of African American historic site
(HACKENSACK, NJ) – In recognition of Black History Month, the Bergen County Department of Parks, Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs (DCHA) invites the public to the historic Gethsemane Cemetery site in Little Ferry this weekend on Saturday, February 24th  and Sunday, February 25th from 11am-2pm, for self-guided tours.

The Valley Hospital’s Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab Earns Re-Accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission


RIDGEWOOD, NJ, February 22, 2024 — The Valley Hospital is pleased to have earned IAC Cardiac Electrophysiology re-accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). This re-accreditation marks the third consecutive accreditation cycle – each cycle consisting of three years – during which Valley has achieved accreditation. As one of only 22 IAC Cardiac Electrophysiology-accredited facilities in the United States, The Valley Hospital is currently the only facility in New Jersey holding this prestigious designation.

Felician University’s Dr. Samira Ziaei Promotes Research in STEM at Liberty Science Center

The Valley Hospital First In New Jersey to Treat Patients Using Novel Atrial Fibrillation Treatment


RIDGEWOOD, NJ, February 16, 2024 – The Valley Hospital is pleased to announce treatment of the first patient in New Jersey, and one of the first in the United States, with a new, outpatient, FDA-approved approach that uses pulsed electrical fields, rather than thermal ablation, for patients with atrial fibrillation (AFib). The technology is called the PulseSelect? Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) System and is manufactured by Medtronic.
