PXG LPGA Tour Pro Linnea Strom Delivers History-Making Final Round to Earn Her First Win; Women Golfers Win as Well Thanks to PXG Offer


[Paramus, NJ] June 17, 2024 – PXG Tour Pros Linnea Strom & Megan Khang finished 1 and 2 at the Shoprite LPGA Classic and PXG is celebrating by offering free golf club fittings for women through the end of June. LPGA Tour Professional Linnea Strom took the course by storm to clinch her first LPGA Tour victory. Shooting a final round 60, Strom found the top of the leaderboard at the Shoprite LPGA Classic. She was joined by fellow PXG LPGA Tour Professional Megan Khang, who closed out the weekend with a final round 66 to finish T2.

Women United In Philanthropy awards program with $40,000 Impact Grant


(Bergen County, NJ - June 20, 2024) YWCA Northern New Jersey (YWCANNJ) announced plans today to launch ‘Operation Sisterhood’, a program that supports women veterans in Bergen County as they transition into civilian life. The funding for this program was made possible through a $40,000 impact grant from Women United in Philanthropy.

KIDS RIDE FREE ON NY WATERWAY FERRIES THIS SUMMER SEASON


Kids Ride Free on NY Waterway Ferries Beginning Friday, July 5 through Monday, September 2
NY Waterway has announced that again this summer, kids will be able to ride free on all NY Waterway ferry routes between New Jersey and Manhattan starting Friday, July 5 and running through Labor Day, Monday, September 2. Two children, under the age of 12, will be permitted to ride free when accompanied by one, single-paying adult rider.

Bergen Athletes Close Spring with Honors


PARAMUS, N.J. – Bergen Community College student-athletes finished the spring season strong, with members of the track and field, baseball and softball teams earning honors. Among the accolades for the Bulldogs, three members of the track and field team each finished in the top 10 of their meets at the national tournament, while three baseball and softball players made all-region teams.
