Bergen Volunteers Adds New CHORE Van to Expand Home Maintenance Support for Seniors in Bergen County


[HACKENSACK, N.J. - July 10, 2024] – Bergen Volunteers added a brand new van to support their CHORE program, which provides free home maintenance and minor repair assistance to elderly and disabled residents across Bergen County. The newly minted vehicle was made possible in part by the generous support of both Bergen County and the Bergen County Division of Senior Services. The new van was celebrated with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 8 and was attended by Bergen County Commissioner Tracy Zur.
