Bergenstages 2024-25 Season Spotlights College Talent


PARAMUS, N.J. – Bergen Community College’s student theatre troupe, Bergenstages, will open its 51st season on Friday, October 25 with a production of “Harvey.” Delving into timeless tales with four shows and one musical centered around the world of literature, the troupe will also perform “The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” “Lysistrata” and “Nora: A Doll’s House” as part of the 2024-25 season. Special productions of “It Can’t Happen Here” and “Backwards Forward Back” will also take place.

The Valley Hospital Successfully Implants TriClip to Repair Leaky Tricuspid Heart Valves


Paramus, NJ, October 3, 2024 – The Valley Hospital’s structural heart team has successfully performed its first procedure using the Abbott TriClip? transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) system, the first-of-its-kind minimally invasive device to repair a leaky tricuspid valve (known as tricuspid regurgitation or TR), according to Abbott.

Center for Hope & Safety Raises Awareness During Domestic Violence Awareness Month with Community Events

(Roselle, NJ) – According to the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Organ Procurement and Transplant Network (OPTN), over 22,000 Hispanic individuals are currently on the national organ transplant waiting list. In 2023, Hispanic Americans made up about 15% of all organ donors in the U.S. This number is steadily growing, though it still falls short compared to the need among Hispanic transplant patients.

BERGEN COUNTY PRESENTS $146K IN OPEN SPACE FUNDING TO BOROUGH OF RUTHERFORD


Funding will support Memorial Park Diamond 4 Improvement Project

PATERSON AND PASSAIC TEENS EXPLORE CAREERS IN HEALTHCARE


Paramus NJ – This summer, Paterson and Passaic teens participated in a Career Exploration Exhibition event at The Valley Hospital located in Paramus, New Jersey, where they learned about different career paths in healthcare and a hospital setting. The event was created via a partnership between the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic (BGCPP) and Valley Health System.
