NY WATERWAY SERVICE ADVISORY: MEMORIAL DAY


This Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th, NY Waterway services will follow a Sunday schedule.
Memorial Day 2023 – Monday, May 29th :
Weehawken/Port Imperial to Midtown/W39 St ferries will depart every 20 minutes, with first ferries departing Port Imperial at 8:00am and last ferries departing Midtown at 10:50pm.

FORMER POLICE CHIEF COMPLETES MILE 200 RUN ACROSS NEW JERSEY IN 85 HOURS


RIDGEWOOD, N.J. – Retired Fairview Police Chief and Run for Hope Foundation Founder Frank DelVecchio completed his 200-mile run across the State of New Jersey to benefit local food security efforts and youth programs on Sunday, May 21st, reaching the beach at Cape May Point at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Two Join Bergen Board of Trustees


PARAMUS, N.J. – Two Bergen County residents with extensive experience in government, education and nonprofits have joined the Bergen Community College Board of Trustees. Damon Englese, of Dumont, and Howard Haughton, of Englewood, took the oath of office at the board’s May 7 meeting. Their terms will expire October 31 when they will become eligible for reappointment.
